Do I need two separate licenses for 2 sites running in MSM?
#104 opened by Torch
Description
I can only assign one license key in the settings for the addon in my EE MSM installation, but I have two separate sites driven by it.

Technically yes, you would need additional licenses for MSM. Unfortunately there's still some pain points with MSM installs that I need to solve due to the inability to add a license key in each site.

Any update on this? It seems sometimes "Ansel License Invalid" errors show up for certain users. Not all of the time, but enough to break image links periodically.

Question: Are you using the control panel from the licensed URL? That's the best way to overcome the pain points at this time.

Yes, always.

Just a heads up that this still throws errors on MSM. Going to have to move away from Ansel as a solution.

Just to point it out, since this is an older thread: with the new BuzzingPixel infrastructure launch, you can have up to 4 authorized domains per license. Would this help with this issue?

I can see if the latest update works. I had multiple licenses for each domain as part of the MSM install. Sometimes it'd work, sometimes not. Found ways around CORS but then uploads to the ansel field wouldn't work. Keep you posted on that update and if it fixes my issue. thanks for the reply.
