how to get new EE live preview to work with generic pages using construct

I'm trying to use the new EE live preview... and under channel settings you have to put a path for the preview url. for a channel like news it works fine like /news/{url_title}.... but how would I do this for something routed with construct? I have a "generic pages" channel that you can select when creating a new menu item page, so i don't know where it technically will reside.

    Construct was developed well before live preview was a thing. As such, it doesn't currently support live preview. I have many plans for Construct that include supporting live preview, but as the only developer of several add-ons and also keeping up with client work, and having not yet looked into what it will take to support live preview with Construct, I cannot say when support for live preview will be coming to Construct.

    All that said, it should still be possible to use Live Preview the old fashioned way by specifying the template, but you may have to jump through some hoops and use some conditionals to get it done.
